Hair & Beauty Chief is in Shop 15 of Walkers Arcade — tucked off Sydney Road in Coburg, one of Melbourne's long, multicultural inner-north retail strips. The studio is light and plant-dressed: white shiplap panels, soft-grey walls, trailing pothos, warm timber floor, a row of product bottles catching the daylight from the front windows.

The work is colour-led. Balayage, highlights, vivid and funky colour, colour correction, all-over colour — women, men and kids. Cuts from pixie crops to longbob, bridal up-styles to weft extensions to keratin and nanoplasty. The range is the point. Bring the screenshot — whatever colour you're aiming for — and the studio will tell you honestly what your hair can do, and then do it.
